Captain's Rum Soap

This is a fun soap to make and is inspired by the story of Captain Kidd, a Pirate who smuggled all kinds of treasure to Connecticut’s shores in exchange for goods and services - one of which was Connecticut-made rum.

Today, rum is once again being made here in Connecticut and I’ve created a soap to salute this entrepreneurial spirit and ingenuity, using only rum made by local Connecticut distillers.

Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil, fresh local goat’s milk, CT distilled rum, fragrance oil.
