About the Farm

The Glastonbury Garden

Sown with care

I’m Brenda Sullivan, and I own Thompson Street Farm LLC, a few acres in South Glastonbury, Connecticut. The farm was inspired by my late husband’s love for plants and natural living and the need to find gentle, chemical-free products for our daughter, Katie, who had severe cerebral palsy. Today, the farm has 22 raised beds and a 14x24-foot greenhouse, where I cultivate medicinal herbs and flowers.

Lavender is our primary crop, cherished for its soothing aroma and potential anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. I also grow calendula, rosemary, mint, and many other herbs, all finding their way into our handcrafted products.

The farm is not just a place where ingredients are grown; my soaps and other natural products are lovingly made, embodying my commitment to local, sustainable, and natural living.

Enhancing Life with Herbs

Nature's Aromatherapy

Made with love locally

I take pride in Thompson Street Farm LLC's locally focused, handcrafted soap-making process.

My soaps are made in small batches using organic herbs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables grown here on our South Glastonbury farm or sourced from nearby producers.

I combine these local ingredients with high-quality oils and locally produced goat's milk to create nourishing, gentle soaps. Each bar is carefully cut, molded, and packaged by hand, ensuring that every product that leaves my farm meets our high standards for quality and sustainability.
