Green Tea Face Serum (Olive Oil) and Green Tea with Matcha Soap
One of the unfortunate consequences of aging is loss of collagen in skin, which causes it to wrinkle and sag. This recipe uses ingredients that help to rebuild collagen and thereby balance the damaging effects of the environment and time. These oils are high in Omega 3, 6, 7and 9 antioxidants, which are the key ingredients to better looking skin.
The use of Sea Buckthorn Oil dates back centuries in Chinese history. This oil contains a component, called Palmitoleic acid, which is an Omega 7 unsaturated fatty acid best known for promoting glowing skin and preventing the loss of elasticity in skin (i.e. sagging skin).
This oil also has natural UV-blocking properties, which can aid in skin regeneration. Please note that this oil is not and should not be a replacement for sunscreen.

Green Tea with Matcha Soap – Unscented
The benefits of drinking green tea have been well documented but we are now learning that using green tea in soap has anti-bacterial and beneficial antioxidants as well.
I began to plant green tea bushes on our farm in 2014 and the green tea used in the base of the soap is from my first year plants. The Matcha (dark green on top) was purchased commercially and is USDA Certified Organic.
Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil, goats milk, organic dried green tea and matcha
