Green Tea Face Serum with Lavender and Olive Oil
One of the unfortunate consequences of aging is a loss of collagen in skin, which causes it to wrinkle and sag. This recipe uses ingredients that help to rebuild collagen and thereby balance the damaging effects of the environment and time. These oils are high in Omega 3, 6, 7and 9 antioxidants, which are the key ingredients to better-looking skin.
The use of Sea Buckthorn Oil dates back centuries in Chinese history. This oil contains a component, called Palmitoleic acid, which is an Omega 7 unsaturated fatty acid best known for promoting glowing skin and prevents the loss of elasticity in skin (i.e. sagging skin).
This oil also has natural UV-blocking properties, which can aid in skin regeneration. Please note that this oil is not and should not be a replacement for sunscreen.
