We have several antique roses on our property and I love their scent so I created this soap to pay homage to the Victorian era.
I first made rosehip tea and then added the remaining ingredients. Rosehips are naturally high in Vitamin C, a common antioxidant in skin that has antiaging properties. I also boosted the recipe with Vitamin E, which is another antiaging ingredient.
Calendula is known to be a good herb for the skin due to its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and astringent properties. Its mildness and gentleness on sensitive skin also makes it very popular with mothers.
Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil, goat’s milk, calendula extract, dried calendula flowers, dried roses, sea salt, blend of essential oil and fragrance oil.
