Rose Hip Tea with Calendula Soap
We have several antique roses on our property and I love their scent so I created this soap to pay homage to the Victorian era.
I first make rosehip tea and then add the remaining ingredients. Rosehips are naturally high in Vitamin C, a common antioxidant in the skin that has anti-aging properties. I also boosted the recipe with Vitamin E, another anti-aging ingredient.
Calendula is known to be a good herb for the skin due to its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and astringent properties. Its mildness and gentleness on sensitive skin also makes it very popular with mothers.
Ingredients: Calendula infused olive oil, coconut oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil, fresh local goat's milk, calendula extract, dried calendula flowers, dried roses, sea salt, blend of essential oil and fragrance oil.
